You will be joining a global manufacturer of Life Safety / Fire Detection Systems. As a Business Development Manager you will be tasked with achievement of sales targets and generating profitable business for the company. You will be based in the Midlands region and can live anywhere within the territory. You will build effective relationships with existing customers, developing new sales routes and promoting products and services.

In your day to day work you will attend sales meetings across the territory, deliver technical seminars and workshops and provide technical training

The ideal candidate will have knowledge in both fire and emergency lighting and be trained on BS 5839- 2017 and BS 5266. You will have 5+ years in a similar role with a proven track record in sales and have a strong background of delivering technical seminars/meetings to senior industry leaders within UK End User and Consultant sector. You will have the ability to assist clients with designing life safety systems, have hands on experience within the fire industry and be computer literate with knowledge of Windows operating system

The role will suit individuals currently working as Business Development Manager, Sales Executive, Sales Consultant, Sales Manager and be living within a commutable distance of Birmingham, Manchester, Stoke on Trent, Coventry, Wolverhampton, Leicester, Northampton, Derby, Nottingham or be willing to relocate.

A successful, high profile company in the Information Technology sector is now seeking to recruit a Business Development Manager to sell a range of products and services.

You will be degree educated and ideally speak a second language (not essential) and have a least 2 years solid commercial experience in a B2B focused sales role. The number one requirement for this role is enthusiasm for the role and for new business generation. All technical and product training will be provided. Full 360 sales role from Lead Generation, Product Demos, Closing Business and Account Management.
