Established International Shipping and Forwarding Agent has an opportunity for an experienced Import Export Clerk to join the team.

As Import Export Clerk you will be responsible for managing import shipments, by land, sea and air. You will be managing shipments from initial quotation through to final delivery and be the main point of contact for your customers. You will be responsible for ensuring all associated documentation is processed efficiently and to work closely with the imports team at all times. You will be commercially experienced in a similar role with ideally a minimum of 2 years experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

. To be responsible for overseeing customer orders

. To support and assist in completing the relevant shipping documentation

. Liaising with customers and shipping lines throughout the shipping process

. To be responsible for processing all customs documentation correctly and on time

. To ensure all bills/invoices are processed correctly and on time

. Provide a high level of customer service

. Arrange deliveries with shipping lines & merchant hauliers.

The role will suit individuals currently working as Import Operator / Clerk and be living within a commutable distance of Southampton or be willing to relocate.
