PC & Network Support Engineer – Avaya Certified - Birmingham
A successful, high profile company in the insurance sector are looking to recruit an energetic and career minded PC & Network Support Engineer in Birmingham to provide support for desktops, Networks, servers, printers etc. It is ESSENTIAL that you have full commercial experience of installing, administering and general maintenance of large scale Avaya telephone systems and hold a current Avaya certification. Avaya Communication Manager (ACM) experience will be considered a distinct advantage.
The ideal candidate will be well educated and hold a current MCSE 2003 certification. Along with the ‘normal’ Microsoft Windows PC & Network infrastructure the ideal candidate will have skills in some of the following; Active Directory, Virtualisation Software, VMWare, Windows Servers - Exchange, SQL, Cisco WAN equipment. You will have excellent client facing experience as confidence when dealing with customers (internal or external to the company) is essential.
Salary in the £30,000 +/- region with full benefits.
The role will suit individuals currently working as 2nd Line Support, Helpdesk Engineer, network support, telecommunications support, Voice & Data Engineer, Comms support, telephone engineer, software support, network engineer, 1st Line Support, 3rd Line Support, and living within a commutable distance of West Midlands, Warwickshire, Birmingham, Coventry, Tamworth, Staffordshire or be willing to relocate.
