Qualified / Part Qualified Accountant - Gloucestershire
An opportunity exists for a Qualified / Part Qualified Accountant to retrain to Software Support Consultant. If you are looking for a career change into I.T. (whilst still retaining the skills you trained for), a successful, high profile company in the Accountancy / Finance Software sector are now seeking to recruit a Software Support Consultant with a background in Accountancy and/or Finance to be based in Gloucestershire. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful, established and growing supplier of software and services to the property management and accounting systems market within the UK.
The ideal candidate will be an I.T. literate accountant and will join the support team providing front-line support for UK customers.

Responsibilities;

•Logging, prioritising and responding to customer support calls
•Resolution of problems by phone, email or remote support
•Escalation of calls, ensuring calls are followed through to completion
•Involvement in testing of new software releases
•Related administrative tasks

The role will include full training and excellent prospects for progression

Salary: to 20k – 30K per annum + private medical + bonus

The ideal candidate will have;

•A minimum of 2 years experience in a finance function
•Experience of using accounting software
•Experience with Dream or similar level accounting software e.g. Sun accounts, Navision, Great Plains, Open Accounts, PS financials etc.
•A high level of I.T. literacy
•Excellent communication skills and a commitment to exceptional customer service
•Qualified/part qualified accountant

The role will suit individuals currently working as an Accountant, Management Accountant, Accounts Assistant, Finance Administrator and living within a commutable distance of Cheltenham, Gloucester, Stroud, Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire or be willing to relocate.
