Network / Server Engineer, Exchange, MCSE - Birmingham

A successful company in the insurance sector are looking to recruit an energetic and career minded Network and Server Engineer, Exchange – Birmingham.

The ideal candidate will be degree educated, ITIL Foundation Certified and have a current MCSE 2003 Certification. This role falls within the general area of IT support, but your role will have a massive emphasis on Exchange 2003 installations, migrations and support. You will be asked to demonstrate your high level of expertise with Exchange Server during the recruitment process.

Along with your responsibilities working with Exchange Server, you will be responsible for the design, installation, and support of business management systems in a more general sense. Your knowledge should some or all of Active Directory, Windows 2000/2003 Server, VMWare, SQL Server 2000, 2003, Cisco, LAN and WAN infrastructure.

Salary will be dependant on experience but is likely to be in the range of £30,000 to £35,000 plus a full benefits package.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background as a Network Engineer, Server Support, Server Engineer, Network Consultant, 3rd Line Support Engineer, Network Support Analyst, Server Support, Systems Administrator, Infrastructure Consultant and be living within a commutable distance of Birmingham, Coventry, Tamworth, Nuneaton, West Midlands or be willing to relocate.
