A leading manufacture of medical devices has an exciting opportunity for a QA Deputy Manager join a busy Quality Assurance Team in Ashby. This is a varied and wide ranging role. The main function is to assume site responsibility for the Company’s Quality System at Ashby.
You will have a recognised internal audit qualification, and preferably a qualification in Quality Assurance. Previous experience of working within an ISO 9001 or ISO 13485 Quality System and experience of managing a small QA team to achieve set objectives is essential. It is also desirable that you have knowledge of the 93/42/EEC Medical Devices Directive and 21 CFR Part 820 Compliance. Previous experience within a medical device environment would also be advantageous.
It is essential that you have CAPA system, material control and report writing experience as well as experience of personnel management. It is also desirable to have good computer skills and the ability to multi-task.
You should be methodical and logical in your approach to work, be an effective communicator at all levels, a team player as well as a leader, be enthusiastic and flexible, as well as having a positive attitude towards inter-function co-operation and personnel development.
