Business Development Executive
A leading British based Pharmaceutical company has an immediate requirement for a Business Development Executive to maximise the company’s position in the market place with emphasis on successful growth through in licensing, acquisitions and strategic product development.
As Business Development Executive you will have experience of dealing with both licensing and acquisitions within the pharmaceutical industry. You will most certainly have a degree in Life Sciences and have previous experience in a similar role.
Based from their offices in Croydon, Surrey you will be responsible for identifying profitable opportunities to strengthen and grow the Company’s overall business and to expand their global presence to include:
•Identifying, assessing and negotiating product acquisitions and in-licensing.
•Identify strategic product opportunities and range extensions to grow markets as part of strategic product development.
•Identifying possible partners.
•Negotiating with potential partners.
•Develop and maintain an active network with external business developers.
•Managing and developing several different projects concurrently.
•Creating value and expanding the company’s business.
•Applying creative thought processes to the development of the company’s business.
•To have a clear understanding of pharmaceutical portfolio products and have a hands on approach to take and manage a business development opportunity from concept to launch within tight deadlines.
In particular, you will be responsible for undertaking market and competition analysis in order to identify and structure new business deals with appropriate partners (e.g. preparation of business cases and scenario modeling in context of the creation of financial and deal models for mid and long term strategy, economic evaluation of the Company’s own therapeutic drug projects/products)
As Business Development Executive you will drive in-licensing negotiations, engaging input from all relevant business areas in order to facilitate new business contract.
Salary: £40,000+ and bonus (to be confirmed).
