International / Regional Sales Manager, Glasgow
A global leading designer and manufacturer of air and gas handling equipment (industrial fans, process gas compressors and rotary heat exchangers) has an immediate requirement for an International Sales Manager to join them at their offices in Glasgow.
As International / Regional Sales Manager you will have a proven sales background within the Petrochemical market place and have an understanding / experience of rotating machinery (this is preferred but not essential). Any experience of screws and blowers (rotary blowers and rotary screw compressors) would also be a distinct advantage.
It is essential that you have previous international business development experience as you will be responsible for generating and evaluating customer enquiries, compiling tenders and managing general business opportunities within the international marketplace.
Flexibility for interpretation of both market and cultural needs is paramount for this role along with first class negotiation, technical and commercial innovation skills.
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline, along with proven experience in a related role. Market knowledge of rotating machinery is preferred along with proven Sales and Commercial experience associated with process industry enhancements on an international basis.
