A leading UK based e-mail marketing company has an immediate requirement for Business Development Manager with a proven track record in service based new business sales in the Internet services and solutions. We are looking for candidates to be based along the M1 corridor. in £70k+ OTE
Based in Northamptonshire, they are currently focusing on two growing market areas; Permission based marketing via e-mail and SMS, and e-mail solutions designed for management of large volumes of generic email (usually consumer based) in a e-CRM environment.
You will be responsible for new business development and account management of e-mail marketing campaigns working with consumer and business facing companies and key marketing / advertising agencies. Experience and knowledge of permission based e-mail marketing ethics and techniques plus have an understanding of direct and targeted marketing principles would be a distinct advantage.
Additional Responsibilities:
Responsible for assisting with message design creative.
Responsible for responding to Request for Proposals, writing proposals and quotations, and all other aspects of the sales cycle.
Responsible for probing, developing and articulating the compelling value proposition to prospective and current end users.
Actively identifying and addressing business questions demonstrating meticulous follow-up responsiveness to customers and internal staff.
Gathering data from prospects or customers to properly qualify business potential to produce reliable business forecasting and contracts.
Keeping informed of competitive activity and offerings in order to assist end users in making decisions between various alternatives.
Sales / Business Development Experience
sales / business development in digital and e-mail marketing and will have established many relationships with key marketing decision makers in a number of leading agencies, consumer facing and b2b companies.
