Sales Manager, Clinical Informatics / Medical Software - Gloucestershire
A successful, high profile company in the Clinical Informatics / Medical Software Solutions sector is now inviting applications for the position of Sales Manager - Clinical Informatics, to be based out of offices in Gloucestershire.
The company designs, develops and supports a web-based software solution that is used globally serving about 1,000 Hospitals. Reporting directly to the Managing Director and in partnership with the current Sales Manager, you will be using your strong selling and clinical skills to promote and sell clinical software solutions into a defined territory in the UK with potential for overseas projects.
You will be expected to prospect, cover and close business within the UK in order to meet targets and support global marketing function and general lead generation through attending exhibitions and conferences, user meetings, and through regular telesales for building your own pipeline. You will be able to deliver presentations at customer sites and through the internet to clinical, IT and a Finance audience.
The ideal candidate will be a senior sales professional, with a demonstrable track record of achievement against targets. This must include 3 years or more experience selling software solutions into the NHS and healthcare sectors. You should have a strong knowledge and overview of the healthcare IT market and applications and an understanding of NHS processes. Expertise in a solution selling technique is essential. A clinical background or Microbiology or similar science degree is preferred.
Salary circa £40,000 basic + OTE £80,000 - £90,000 + Benefits.
The role will suit individuals currently working as Clinical Sales Executive, Sales Manager, Software Solutions Sales, Business Development, Account Manager, Informatics Sales and living within a commutable distance of Gloucester, Cheltenham, Bristol, Stroud, Cirencester, Worcester or willing to relocate.
