Regional Sales Manager / Technical Sales Engineer, Industrial Adhesives
An internationally successful company developing and manufacturing high-tech industrial adhesives for a wide variety of applications in expanding markets (electronics, micro-electronics and automotive) is now seeking to recruit a home based Regional Sales Manager / Technical Sales Engineer.
Responsible for the UK and Ireland, as Sales Manager / Technical Sales Engineer, you will be tasked with developing and expanding the existing customer base in this area. On starting the role you will receive a comprehensive, three month, training program and so no prior adhesives knowledge is necessary (although it is preferred). As Sales Manager / Technical Sales Engineer your role will involve working from home and include lots of client visits in the region. You will apply the highly successful business model, of extensive technical and commercial support to develop this market.
You will sell market leading products and have excellent engineering support to back you up. You will experience a highly diverse customer base and have the opportunity to make a difference to their industry leading applications.
You will have a Masters Degree in mechanical, process or electrical engineering, material science or similar. You should have at least 5 years demonstrable successful experience in a technical Sales role in the high tech engineering sector - mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automotive engineering, process engineering, material science sectors etc.
You need to have excellent communication and negotiation skills and take an analytical and organizational approach to work. Self-motivation and the ability to use your own initiative are essential, as you will be working remotely from head office.
Your home location is not too important however the ideal candidate will live somewhere between London and Manchester (London, Oxfordshire, South East, Birmingham, West Midlands, Warwickshire, Worcestershire, Staffordshire, East Midlands, Manchester, Cheshire, North West, Liverpool, Leeds, Yorkshire).
Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 + bonus, Car, Mobile Phone, Laptop. Full Time, Permanent
