Regional Sales Executive – (home based) Southern England

A successful, high profile company in the Design, Manufacture and Supply of protective packaging, transit container and handling solutions is now seeking to recruit a Regional Sales Executive to cover the Southern England area. The company is seeking to expand its field based sales team and now requires a commercially minded individual to generate new business and contribute to the growth of the company throughout the South of England.

As a valued member of the Sales Team you will be responsible for achieving (and exceeding) demanding sales targets by developing strong, professional and long-term client relationships. New business generation is a key objective and the ability to identify and secure new business from key clients will be a central part of this role. You will need to be a highly organised, self motivated operator accustomed to working independently and as part of a team on larger and more challenging projects.

The successful candidate will have proven sales experience preferable with some engineering / design background along with excellent organisational skills, a highly presentable manner and a self-disciplined approach to work. Whilst knowledge of specialist packaging solutions would be a distinct advantage it’s not essential, it’s your ability to achieve that will impress.

Key Responsibilities

- Establish customer needs through client consultation and offer innovative solutions
- Maximise brand awareness

Skills Required
- Established all rounder with first-class negotiation, presentation and sales skills
- Complete customer service satisfaction ethic.
- Well presented, articulate negotiator with good presentational skills.
- Highly motivated, organised and flexible.
- Computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and CRM systems
- Full, Clean UK driving license.

The successful candidate will operate remotely with support from Head Office and be expected to travel throughout the South of England. A highly competitive package (base salary of £25,000 to £30,000) will be backed by ongoing training and support plus exceptional prospects within a growth driven and expanding organisation. This will include company car, laptop and phone.

The role will suit individuals currently working as Sales Executive, Sales Manager, Business Development, Account Manager and living within a commutable distance of Bristol, Southampton, Swindon, Bath, Salisbury, Yeovil, Somerset, Hampshire, Avon, Devon, Dorset or willing to relocate.
