PR Account Manager

An independent public relations agency based in Kingston-upon-Thames, Surrey has an immediate requirement for an Account Manager to join them.
Working with many blue-chip clients my client specialises in on-line, social media and SEO and manages brand reputation to ensure a positive profile for clients whilst creating brand advocates in the on and off-line community.
The agency works with its clients, as an extension of the team, to achieve their business objectives, helping to establish them as thought leaders in their sector, and deliver tangible, measurable results. Both client and industry reputation has helped to establish them as one of the UK’s fastest growing, most dynamic agencies.
As Account Executive you will have 12-18 months experience in a PR agency role and have solid PR core skill set (experience of creating a full range of PR documents and materials), be Degree educated and have knowledge of social media.
Essential requirements:
• Minimum of three years PR agency experience (any sector consumer/tech/corporate etc.)
• Has worked with ‘Blue-chip brands’, consistently delivering great results across all PR programmes
• Can demonstrate campaigns have been delivered to budget, to agreed deadlines and in line with agreed KPIs
• Solid PR core skill set (experience of creating a full range of PR documents)
• Experience of running a team across multiple accounts
• Experience of senior client liaison and relationship management (troubleshooting client issues)
• Degree educated
• Knowledge of social media
• Ideally delivered digital campaigns
Job specification (six month temp to perm contract):
• Responsible for the day to day running of multiple agency accounts
• Will provide client with senior counsel
• Will prepare plans and develop strategies
• Will work with junior team members to help them learn and progress their careers
