A leading manufacturer and supplier of biotechnology laboratory equipment have an immediate requirement for a sales manager / general manager to join them at their headquarters in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced sales professional to move into a management role with the possibility of running the company. It is essential that you who has experience of selling laboratory equipment or similar hi-tech equipment, preferably with some biotechnology or similar applications.
The role is client facing and you will be involved in demonstrating the equipment and providing after sales service. Ideally you will have experience of export sales and distributors networks. Superb communication skills are essential as you will be responsible for all marketing sales literature and web site content. Ideally you will have a good understanding of web technology such as Google Analytics and Google ClickAds.
You will also be working with the manufactures to ensure production targets are met and project manage an new development projects.
Ultimately my client is keen to find someone that can take over the running of the company and take it to a new level of expansion.
Salary is open to negotiation (circa £35,000 - £50,000) with considerable long term benefits.
