Account Manager, Dorset
A successful, high profile UK based company providing global Telecommunications equipment currently requires a dynamic, experienced Account Manager to work in the Sales team based in Dorset.
The company has experienced rapid growth providing Carrier Grade Telecoms Products and Services to the Telecommunication Industry worldwide with deployments in more than 40 countries. Starting as a Signaling System 7(SS7) consultancy building custom products from best-of-breed hardware, the company quickly took this expertise into building and delivering carrier grade SS7 based signaling products, combining leading edge SS7 and VoIP telephony products with world-class installation and support services to deliver carrier grade telecom products worldwide.
The role will include all aspects of Account Management including dealing with existing long term clients, with a view to building profitable relationships to determine long term progression. dealing with new leads and pro-active sales. This is a dedicated account management sales role, selling and managing the requirements of customers assigned to you. This is a fantastic opportunity in a high growth area for an individual with a proven track record of selling high-tech products. You will be sourcing new customers/taking up on leads, etc, as well as looking after the existing customers. This role is office based but the opportunity to travel/go to shows/meetings is there.
You will need to have excellent negotiation and communication skills and likely to have an excellent knowledge of and a successful track record in account management, particularly in the areas of global telecommunications although this is not a commission/target based role you do need a passion for sales.
You will ideally have experience of the following:
VOIP products
ISDN
SS7
Media Gateways
Please note this is not a hard sell role with targets!
Salary £30K+ negotiable depending on experience
The role will suit individuals currently working as Account Managers, Business Development Consultants, Customer Relationship Managers and living within a commutable distance of Dorchester, Dorset, or willing to relocate.
