A leading design and manufacture of environmental systems to the energy industry has an immediate requirement for a Project Engineer to join them at their offices in Braintree, Essex.
As project engineer you will be responsible for all activities in respect of expediting client contracts specific to Gas, Liquid Fuel treatment packaged systems for the Gas, Petro-Chemicals and Power industry.
As Project Engineer you will ideally have Oil and Gas Industry knowledge, experience of field work and factory testing Autocad/PV Elite skills, good keyboard and PC skills and good communication skills including telephone and customer interface skills are also required.
Core Responsibilities
• Receive contract and review with checklists
• Develop and review project schedules including commercial and milestones in critical path
• Negotiate purchase/delivery prices within specified budget
• Undertake visits to client/supplier and produce reports
• Submit written status reports to clients
• Review all supplier documentation and ensure compliance
• Supervise installation of internals onshore and offshore
As Project Engineer you will be:
• Commercially minded and competent with the ability to identify and resolve potential problems with design, commercial/contract requirements or delivery
• Verbal and written language skills
• Pro-activity and multi-tasking
• Self-motivated and organised and confident
• Availability to travel overseas
Salary Upto £35,000 + benefits.
