Inspection Engineer
Based in Aberdeen, your main role will be to provide Inspection & Corrosion Engineering support to Inspection and Integrity Management Projects of a well established Corrosion and Integrity consultancy.
As Inspection Engineer you will act as technical resource on Integrity / Corrosion projects which will involve contact with clients at operational level on technical and project matters which will include:
•Involvement in RBI assessments
•Corrosion management strategies
•Inspection plans, workbooks, reports
•Site surveys
•Inspection co-ordination
As Integrity / Corrosion Inspection Engineer it is essential that you can work effectively as a project engineer on delegated tasks including, where necessary, contract liaison and budgetary control.
As Inspection Engineer you will be responsible for safety, environmental protection and statutory requirements. Compliance of all work activity, operations, data and reports with company processes, technical specifications, current industry standards and legislation.
An Engineering degree in a relevant Engineering Discipline is required.
Following Experience guidelines:
•Engineering Experience in Asset Integrity.
•Project Engineering Skills.
•Client Interface Experience.
Knowledge and Experience in at least two of the following Integrity Engineering areas:
•Pipelines,
•Structures,
•Process Plant,
•Inspection
•Corrosion
Knowledge and experience in application of Risk Based Inspection techniques would be a distinct advantage.
Location:Aberdeen
Salary:£35,000 - £45,000 plus superb benefits.
The role will suit individuals currently working as a Inspection & Corrosion Engineering, Inspection Engineer, Corrosion Engineer, Integrity Engineer, Project Engineer and living within a commutable distance of Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland or willing to relocate.
