Software Engineer / Developer – LabView / Visual C++ / Visual Basic
A successful, high profile company in the Control System Technologies sector are now looking to recruit a Software Engineer / Developer / Programmer with skills in LabView, Visual C++ and Visual Basic.
The Main Duties & Responsibilities for the Software Engineer / Developer / Programmer will be to design, develop, implement and provide maintenance of software for both in house use and distribution. You will development and maintain software design and test specifications and associated documentation. You will provide management of software development process, applications tools and source code, thereby ensuring conformity with the company’s accredited ISO9001:2000 quality system.
As an experienced Software Engineer / Developer / Programmer you will have a high level of experience and competence with National Instruments LabView versions 7 & 8 and other National Instruments software and hardware products and competence in Microsoft Visual C++, Visual Basic. You will also have a good working knowledge of a range of networking and communication systems and protocols including: Ethernet (all varieties), RS232, RS422, RS485, MODBUS, CAN
The role will suit individuals currently working as Software Engineer / Developer / Programmer and living within a commutable distance of York, Pickering, Scarborough, North Yorkshire or willing to relocate.
