Senior Spec and Script Writer / Market Research - Kent
A successful, high profile company in the Market Research sector is now seeking to recruit a Senior Spec Writer to be based in Kent.
The role of Senior Spec Writer / Specwriter is a technical one which involves liaising with Project Managers to establish and carry out all data processing tasks required. In the main this would be writing scripts to both capture data and analyse the results.
Your role would involve working very closely with the project managers, and attending client facing meetings where necessary. In a timely manner you would be expected to script questionnaires into various software packages mainly Merlin and Bellview. The ability to write formulas in excel to manipulate data is essential in order to provide the project managers with the necessary
Key Skills Required:
• A high degree of computer literacy.
• A thorough knowledge of the Confirmit / Bellview / Merlin (or less desired SPSS) QSL programming language.
• A thorough knowledge of the Confirmit / Bellview / Merlin (or less desired SPSS) CATI/CAPI and WEB systems.
• A thorough knowledge of the Merlin tabulation package.
• Competence in Word.
• Advanced excel skills such as writing macros, advance formulas and data manipulation would be advantageous
Salary will be in the region of £32,000.
The role will suit individuals currently working as Senior Spec Writer, Specwriter, Data Analyst, Data Processor, Analyst Programmer, Market Researcher and living within a commutable distance of Ashford, Canterbury, Maidstone, Folkestone, Tunbridge, Kent or willing to relocate.
