Technical Director / Lead Programmer – MMOG / Games Development – Singapore
A successful, high profile Computer Games Developer is now inviting applications for the position of Technical Director / Lead Programmer. As Technical Director / Lead Programmer you will have at least 10 years experience as either a Lead Programmer or Technical Director on previous large scale game titles. Better yet is if that experience is creating online games in Asia. This is a full time position based in Singapore, South East Asia.
You will be from the Computer Game industry with in depth experience of several high profile game titles in a senior technical role (great preference will be given to candidates with MMOG experience). You will have 10 years experience as Lead Programmer or Technical Director on relevant game titles and have strong expertise in all areas of game development and technology, including both client and server sides in online MMO games ( MMOG, MMORPG ).
You must have strong organisational and communication skills, appropriate for a senior manager at this level along with strong technical project management, scheduling and planning skills. Good creative skills with an eye for detail and what makes a great game great. Strong knowledge of Unreal 3 Engine a big plus.
Package is in the region of S$200,000 (Singapore Dollars) depending on experience (roughly equivalent to £90,000 or €105,000) but due to the very favourable tax regime in Singapore this an attractive salary.
The role will suit individuals currently working as Technical Director, Senior Games Producer, Senior Games Programmer, Lead Games Developer, Lead Programmer, Games Programmer, Online Software Engineer, Software Engineer and living within a commutable distance of Singapore, South East Asia or willing to relocate.
