Software Developer / Support - VB6 / Oracle Forms - Liverpool
A successful, high profile company in the Software Solutions sector is now inviting applications for the position of Software Developer / Programmer / Applications Support Consultant to be based out of offices in Liverpool.
We are looking to recruit a number of developers to join the product development team. A comprehensive working knowledge of Visual Basic 6 and ADO / DAO is required. Knowledge of Oracle Database Handling is desirable as is Visual Source Safe. Candidates with solid Oracle Forms and some VBA experience will also be of great interest.
As a Software Developer, Programmer / Support Consultant the ideal candidate should be highly motivated and have an interest in a career with a leading software services company and demonstrate an understanding of a commercial software development environment.
Desirable qualities include:
• Ability and knowledge in the use of Visual Basic 6 and ADO / DAO
• Access, MySQL and database handling
• Oracle Forms
• VBA
• The ability to analyse problems and deliver results
• The ability to respond to customer requirements
• Interpersonal and communication skills
• A pro-active mindset and a self-starter
• The ability to work both as part of a team and also with minimal supervision
The role carries a salary of circa £25,000 plus benefits.
