Senior Software Developer, C#, ASP.Net, SQL – North London
A successful, high profile company in the Personal Finance sector is now seeking to recruit an experienced Senior Software Developer with skills in C#, ASP.Net, SQL to work in London. Salary up to £50,000 + Benefits.
Initially the role will be to integrate into the team and deliver new functionality to the website whilst gaining an understanding of how it is constructed. It has been written in C#, ASP.Net and SQL Server 2008 in an OO style.
We are looking for someone who can work closely with business stakeholder’s to work out requirements and to give early feedback on time estimates. They must be able to work under pressure and against tight deadlines and will need to be pragmatic when making design decisions.
The role will involve a high degree of business focus and as such we are looking for someone with experience in this area along with excellent communication skills and people management abilities.
You will have:
At least 5 to 10 years in a similar commercial role
An excellent degree education in Computer Science or other numerate discipline
Strong background in C#, ASP.NET, SQL SERVER (2005/2008), WCF WebServices, nServiceBus, msmq, or other messaging technologies.
Proven ability to multi-task, deliver exceptional results and motivate others in a fast paced, dynamic environment
Strong decision making and problem solving skills
Exceptional analytical, organisational and interpersonal skills
Enthusiastic attitude and strong commercial acumen
The role will suit individuals currently working as Software Developer, Programmer, Senior .Net Developer, Lead Developer, IT Manager and living within a commutable distance of London or willing to relocate.
