Search Engine Analyst, SEO Consultant - Online Marketing – Harrogate, Yorkshire
A successful, high profile company is now seeking to recruit an in-house SEO Consultant / Search Engine Analyst / Online Marketing Executive to join their marketing team.
Currently, all SEO activity is outsourced to an external company, so this is a new internal role within the company and ultimately this person will be responsible for all online activity, working with the Marketing Manager and Marketing Team.
In this new role, the SEO Consultant / Search Engine Analyst / Online Marketing Executive will be responsible for monitoring overall search engine performance for SEM campaigns. The Search Engine Analyst will work with the Marketing Manager and Marketing Team to implement search strategies and track the effectiveness of new and existing campaigns.
The successful candidate will have strong analytic capabilities with specific knowledge of online marketing analytics. The Search Engine Analyst is expected to produce daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting; assigned analytic projects; and produce independent analysis to help search engine strategy.
Essential Functions
Provide support and analysis for the marketing team including:
• Monitor, track, and report on paid search metrics, including trend analysis
• Make recommendations for search engine optimization recommendations
• Interact with marketing team to optimize website copy and landing pages for Search Engine Marketing
• Research and purchase external links, managing links campaign budget
• Monitor online referring sites and advertising campaigns
• Set up new campaigns
• Maintain all social media company accounts (Facebook / Twitter)
• Stay up to date on the latest industry developments
• META optimization
• Keyword discovery, expansion, monitoring and reporting
• Reporting on key activities, including:
o Top keywords raking by category
o ROI by Campaign, Site, and Category
o competitor advertising links
o PPC campaigns
Job Qualifications
• A degree in business, marketing, communications or related subjects
• 1+ years previous online marketing experience. Ad agency or online direct marketing background a plus
• Proficient in all Microsoft applications
