A dynamic Consumer Electronics company is now seeking to recruit an experienced Project Manager with a broad experience of both business and technology in the mobile handheld device sector. Fluency in English and German is essential. The ideal candidate will therefore have solid commercial experience as a Project Manager in the GPS hardware device, Radio handset, Mobile Phone handset or related industry.
It is essential you have experience as a Project Manager in the development of hardware devices together with an original design manufacturer (ODM). You will be working very closely with the heads of Marketing, Product Management and Supply Chain Management in a full life cycle Project Manager role. Please be aware that the position involves extensive travelling.
As an experienced Project Manager it is expected that you will have a structured way of solving and attacking tasks and issues, yet having a flexible mindset. You must enjoy high pace and be open to change.
The ideal candidate will have a university education within technology or business and at least 5 years experience as a Project Manager in R&D-heavy early stage companies in the consumer electronics industry. You will work in a multi partner environment and coordinate the entire product development. You will specify product functionality, develop integration plans and evaluate reports from ODMs and SW partners.
You will have proven demonstrable success project managing development and launches of excellent products along with excellent written and verbal communication skills and fluency in English and German. You will have excellent technical knowledge of the GPS hardware device, Radio handset or Mobile Phone handset industry.
The role will carry a competitive package which will be negotiated based on experience. However, as a guideline it is expected that the package will include a salary in the region of €70,000 to €80,000 + Bonus.
The role will suit individuals currently working as a Project Manager, Programme Manager, Project Leader and living within a commutable distance of Munich, München, Germany, Deutschland or willing to relocate.
