Microsoft Dynamics NAV – Consultant / Developer - Birmingham
A successful, high profile company in the Consultancy sector is now seeking to recruit a
Microsoft Dynamics NAV ( Navision ) Consultant and/or Developer to be based from offices in Birmingham, West Midlands. The main aspect of the role is programming of Microsoft Dynamics NAV software to meet client requirements. Consultancy skills are also required as the role is client facing and the Consultant / Developer will be also be required to be involved in client workshops, training and implementation.
The position of Microsoft Dynamics NAV Consultant / Developer is a key role in delivery of the solution to the customer. Responsibilities include: analysing customer requirements; demonstrating NAV; conducting client workshops; documenting customer requirements; carrying out modifications to a high standard, testing of software, installing and implementing Dynamics NAV on clients sites and ongoing customer training and support.
The ideal candidate will be degree educated and will have solid commercial experience in a similar role. Candidates should have previous Dynamics NAV development experience and have experience of implementing Dynamics NAV on client sites. A good understanding and experience of SQL along with highly developed analytical skills. Excellent general IT skills including Word, Excel, Outlook, Access etc are essential. An understanding or knowledge of Warehousing and Logistics ERP solutions would be an advantage.
Salary is negotiable as all experience levels will be considered but is likely to be in the region of £30,000 to £50,000 + Benefits.
The role will suit individuals currently working as Microsoft Dynamics NAV Consultant, Developer, Analyst Programmer, NAV Developer and living within a commutable distance of Birmingham, Coventry, Wolverhampton, Warwick, West Midlands or willing to relocate.
