IVR Software Developer / Programmer, Envox, Nuance, SQL - Reading

A successful, high profile company in the CTI IVR sector are now inviting applications for the position of IVR Developer to be based in Reading. Roles exist at all levels, from junior to senior developer so please forward your CV for consideration.

Your main function will be IVR solution design and development. The ideal candidate will be competent using Envox but anyone with strong IVR skills/experience who would be interested in learning will be given full consideration. Speech recognition is also important and skills in Nuance will be advantageous.

You will work both individually and as a member of small software development team, predominantly with the Envox Communications Platform development tools and environments on Windows based solutions. Based in the main Reading office, but will be required to attend customer sites for meetings, installation and support tasks.

The role is made up of the following tasks:-
Software design and development for in-house software portfolio.
Custom solution design and development.
Designing, developing and customising solutions using 3rd Party software application and tools, including the latest ASR and TTS products (mainly Nuance products)
Installation and configuration of custom solutions, in-house and 3rd party products
Product and solution testing and documentation.
Customer support for product portfolio and bespoke developments.

Essential Attributes
Proven history of designing, developing and deploying robust IVR solutions.
Good understanding of relational database design and development, especially MS SQL Server and SQL
Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical colleagues and clients
Able to use own initiative and work within a framework, but without requiring day-to-day supervision.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience of AVAYA telephony products would be advantageous.
Honesty, responsibility and enthusiasm.

Salary: A wide range of candidates will be considered and so the salary range is also wide, from £20,000 to £50,000 depending on experience.
