IT Helpdesk Engineer, 2nd / 3rd Line Support, Oldbury

The Role

You will provide 2nd and 3rd level support to a number of customers both over the phone and remotely working with a number of different technologies and platforms including both Microsoft and Unix. You will occasionally attend customer problems on site so a driving license is essential.

Key Experience Required

You will have strong 2nd and 3rd line support skills and must have worked for a IT Support Services Company previously. You will have gained Microsoft qualifications in either MCP, MCSA or MCSE and will have a very good all round IT knowledge with specific experience in all or most of the following areas: MS Server 2003/2008, Exchange Server, SQL server, Cisco routers and firewalls, MS Clustering, Citrix, (Unix or Linux) and Virtualisation such as VMware.
You will join a highly supportive company with a good sense of team play in a role that will allow your continued development.

You must have worked for an IT Services Company previously to be considered for this position.

Location: Oldbury, West Midlands
