A new position for a skilled Mechanical Engineer has opened up at a precision engineering company based in Keighley, West Yorkshire. Their portfolio of experience and clients include: Medical, Surgical, General Engineering and catering to name but a few. They are able to undertake complex projects that require turned and milled processes in a single operation whilst maintaining a strong emphasis on quality, control and costs.

They are looking for a skilled Mechanical Engineer to program, set and operate Star Sliding Head Lathes. As Mechanical Engineer you will have the ability to read technical drawings, program lathes using FANUC controls, set machines using existing programs to produce “first off” components, Run and Operate sliding head lathes and work to fine surface finishes / tolerances.

Ideally you will be apprentice trained skilled engineer with Fanuc or similar programming experience, Vast Turning knowledge and be self motivated and dedicated.

Salary of £20,000 to £25,000 depending upon experience + overtime at time and half + private health scheme.
