Pre and Post Sales Technical Consultant – Life Sciences, Cheshire
A successful, high profile company in the Pharmaceutical / Biotech sector is now seeking to recruit a Product Specialist / Pre and Post Sales Technical Consultant with a background in Life Sciences, specifically Labelling and IHC.
The Product Specialist will assist the Sales Team to achieve annual revenue objectives. Key tasks will be to develop and deliver successful Labelling and IHC demonstrations and presentations as they apply to customer/prospect needs. You will assists sales specialists in developing Labelling and IHC sales strategies and understanding the technical aspects of sales, liaising with companies to ensure successful integration in both clinical and non-clinical environments. You will provide technical product support to the field sales group, distributors, and potential customers and participate in the sales process by joining sales specialists on customer visits to demonstrate products and assist with technical issues as warranted. You will need to anticipate and handles objections during the sales process articulating clear and concise responses while positioning the benefits of the Thermo Scientific Labelling + IHC solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a Life Science Qualification, Degree or equivalent, experience of laboratory working practices and knowledge of laboratory products. You will have Knowledge of clinical and non clinical Cellular Pathology market.
The role will suit individuals currently working as Product Specialist , Life Sciences, Pre sales Consultant, Post sales Consultant, Laboratory Assistant, Scientist and living within a commutable distance of Cheshire, Chester, Saint Helens, Widnes, Ellesmere Port, Runcorn, Warrington or willing to relocate.
