A leading manufacturer of high quality machine tools has an immediate requirement for a Mechanical Engineer to work within a team based environment on specialised technical engineering projects to be based in Bedford.
As Mechanical Engineer you will be responsible for:
• The design of mechanisms and systems using CAD.
• Finite element analysis of structures and assemblies.
• Computational fluid dynamics analysis of thermal and fluid flow issues.
• Manage projects within a team based environment.
• Liaise with customers on a technical and commercial level.
• Work within our ISO9000-2008 quality system.
This post would ideally be suited to a MSc engineering student however candidates with alternative qualifications and the required knowledge and experience will be also
considered.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
• Keep up to date with engineering developments, standards and practices.
• Provide production and manufacturing engineering support to standard product
• Candidates should be willing to work away including overseas when required.
• Liaise with customers to arrange visits, presentations and demonstrations.
