A leading manufacture of industrial machinery has an immediate requirement for a Mechanical Engineer to join them at their offices in Pershore, Worcestershire.
The role will not just include Mechanical Design, they are keen to find someone who is not only capable of the design side, but also willing to get involved in the workshop, have the patience to sit down and deal with manuals, handle customers / suppliers when necessary and support our Quality Engineer.
As Mechanical Engineer / General Engineer you will be using Pro/Engineer & CAD, providing technical help to factory workers, internal sales staff, suppliers and customers.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Using Pro Engineer Wildfire 5 for the creation of new drawings and maintaining existing drawing revisions for fabrications, track components, tooling and jig designs.
• Produce 3-D models and outline drawings for customers use
• To liaise with both office and factory work staff, supporting technical sales and contributing towards a smooth manufacturing environment.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
• Pro Engineer wildfire experience essential
• AutoCAD knowledge an advantage.
• Engineering degree preferred, but not absolutely necessary.
• Good experience with Word, Excel, Outlook etc.
