General / Sales Manager – Automotive Electrical Sector – Lancashire
A successful, high profile company in the Automotive Electrical sector is now seeking to recruit an experienced General / Sales Manager for their UK office. The firm supply electrical solutions for commercial and military automotive applications throughout the UK and Europe. Located in Lancashire you will be working for a well established company that has grown rapidly based on quality products and a commitment to customer service.
Prior industrial sales management experience in commercial and military markets is essential. Candidates with a strong sales / management background in the automotive OEM market are encouraged to apply.
You will have overall responsibility for the smooth running of the company and the Sales function by providing leadership and motivation to position the company at the forefront of our industry. You will be an excellent communicator with good interpersonal skills and will probably have worked in a successful management role before with an Automotive OEM or an automotive engineering based company. You will have extensive knowledge of office processes, procedures and technology and be able to read and interpret financial reports. Prior industrial sales management experience in commercial and military markets is preferred, but candidates with a strong sales/management background in the automotive OEM market are encouraged to apply.
The ideal candidate will be degree educated in Electrical Engineering and have a solid background in technical sales along with 3 to 5 years experience in a supervisory role.
Basic Salary £40,000 - £45,000 per annum. Discretionary bonus scheme, Company Car, Healthcare plan, Pension, Mobile phone, Laptop computer, 25 days holiday.
The role will suit individuals currently working as a General Manager, Managing Director, Sales Manager, Branch Manager, Country Manager, CEO and living within a commutable distance of Preston, Manchester, Liverpool, Lancashire, Blackpool, North West or willing to relocate.
