Engineering Project Manager, Middlesex
A multidiscipline engineering company working predominantly in the onshore oil and gas industry has an immediate requirement for a Project manager to join them at their offices in Uxbridge, Middlesex.
Projects include Conceptual Designs, FEED studies, PMC and occasional EPC contracts, with typical values ranging from £50k to circa £3 million. Quality of deliverables is key as they are certificated with both ISO9001 and ISO29001.
Ideally you will have 10 years in project management with strong engineering background with:
•A good knowledge and experience within FEED scale project activities as well as PMC / EPC projects.
•Good commercial / contractual awareness.
•Onshore gas / LNG experience preferred.
•Planning, cost control, management reporting skills essential.
•Microsoft Project, standard Microsoft Office systems.
•Experience of writing technical reports / specifications etc.
•Excellent team leader and member.
•Be fully responsible for all aspects of a project including scope of work and contract terms.
•Manage several small projects simultaneously
•Establish and supervise the project organisation and must take an active hands on role within the team.
•Ensure effective reporting and control of programme and budget.
•Act as company representative in direct liaison with the customer, ensuring effective working relations.
•Ensure quality of work is in accordance with the corporate QA procedures.
•Support of sales in project bid development.
Qualifications:
•HNC / HND or higher
•Chartered Engineer (or working towards this)
Position: Project Manager
Salary:Circa 50k to 60k + benefits
Location:Primarily based in Uxbridge with UK and occasional international travel
The role will suit individuals currently working as a Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, PM, Engineering Project Manger and living within a commutable distance of Uxbridge, Middlesex, West London, M40 / M25 or willing to relocate.
