The ideal candidate will be qualified to degree/Masters level with extensive experience in the Renewable Energy disciplines. They should have good awareness of consultancy work beyond their own discipline; bring expertise in their own specialist discipline; ability to help develop the team’s technical expertise, and a proven experience of developing and implementing successful environmental solutions.
This is a role for a proven professional and applicants from disciplines other than Renewable Energy, unfortunately cannot be considered. The successful applicant will report directly to the executive committee of which they will be invited to attend.
This role is also client facing and therefore the applicant should be self-sufficient, resilient and pragmatic with a strategic commercial focus. A strong background in a senior project management role within the power generation industry is a prerequisite.
Essential Attributes
- Extensive experience working within Renewables Construction management .
- Proven leadership skills in a Renewables Construction management role.
- A significant amount of experience in senior project management.
- Experience of managing a broad range of both internal & external stakeholders.
- Detailed understanding of key renewable technologies, particularly offshore/onshore wind.
- Chartered MCIOB / MAPM / MRICS/ MICE/ MIMechE or equivalent .
- Experience in a commercial renewable energies environment.
- Broad understanding of the renewable energy markets.
- Proven track record within a consultancy environment.
