This is an excellent opportunity for a talented and experienced Cathodic Protection Engineer or Corrosion Engineer who will be qualified to, or able to quickly reach the level of NACE Senior Corrosion Technologist or equivalent, to join a well established and internationally recognised company that is active in all aspects of Cathodic Protection and Stray Current Corrosion Control.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide technical expertise and consultancy in corrosion engineering for a variety of specialist applications including Oil & Gas, Process, Utilities and Marine Industry sectors.
• Utilise a detailed knowledge of corrosion engineering, theory and application to produce system designs both onshore and offshore.
• Integrity/Corrosion experience in analysis, engineering evaluation, report preparation, drafting, workbook preparation, project engineering, quality assurance and specification / workscope definition.
• Interface with clients on a technical and commercial level and be capable of business development.
• Assist in providing an effective and efficient quotation service.
• Record and document all information in a disciplined manner
• UK and overseas travel. The work requires a level of fitness to enable completion of offshore survival course certification.

Ideally you will be located close to Telford, Shropshire or be prepared to relocate should the need arise.

Salary of circa £50,000 - £60,000 basic + benefits and off-shore etc.

The role will suit individuals currently working as a Cathodic Engineer, Senior Cathodic Engineer, Corrosion Engineer, Senior Corrosion Engineer and living within a commutable distance of Telford, Shropshire, Staffordshire or willing to relocate.
