Business Analyst - Software Development .Net, C #, VB, SQL

A successful, high profile company in the finance / accountancy sector are now inviting applications for the position of Business Analyst - Software Development, .Net, VB, SQL. You must be educated to degree level in a technical discipline, have practical experience of the full software development lifecycle and have experience of VB, C#, .Net and SQL Server from a Business Analysis perspective.

Your primary function will be the interface between the business (fully understanding its requirements) and the Software Development department. As such your business skills are of equal importance to your technical background. You will take the concept of ‘what the business wants and needs’, do a feasibility study, produce functional specifications and take ownership of the testing function (including producing test plans) prior to final delivery of the solution back to the business. Your documentation skills will be tested in full and so your written English skills should be second to none.

You will be dealing with all levels of staff on a daily basis including Directors, Senior Managers, Programmers, and support staff and so your communication, influencing and listening skills will be of paramount importance.

Salary in the region of £35-45k.

The role will suit individuals currently working as a an Business Analyst, Analyst Programmer, Senior Software Developer, Technical Architect and living within a commutable distance of Coventry, Birmingham, Leicester, Rugby, Warwick or be willing to relocate.
