Business Analyst SQL, ASP.Net - Birmingham

A successful, high profile and rapidly expanding company in the insurance sector are looking to recruit a dynamic and ambitious Business Analyst to be based in Birmingham.

Your role will involve Risk Management, specifically looking at the risk associated with software technology and analyse what effect and impact this will have on internal and external parties. Analyse business requirements and produce functional specifications and high level designs. Identifying unmet and under met needs and defining product concepts, features and attributes to satisfy identified needs. Analyse current business processes, themes and designs and implement ongoing improvements in line with business needs. Take ownership of managing internal and external parties to meet all expectations ensuring that all deadlines, guidelines and timescales are adhered to. Develop implementation plans setting out how the projects will be developed, implemented and supported in-life. Carry out and review tests on the systems and feedback back results to relevant parties. Report writing – on test findings and implementation of improvement plans.

The ideal candidate will be degree educated in a numerate discipline and have refined skills in;

•ASP and ASP.NET
•Microsoft Office 2003
•Microsoft Project 2003

Salary offered will reflect your skills and experience but is likely to be in the region of £40,000 to £45,000 plus full company benefits.

This role would suit someone who is or has recently been a Business Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, Data Analyst, MI Analyst who is living in Birmingham, Coventry, Tamworth, Nuneaton, Sutton, West Midlands or prepared to relocate to a similar area.
